Situated on a beautiful estate in Capo Vaticano, Casa Lampedusa is a newly built, lovely cottage for two persons. The beautiful sandy beach is within walking distance and on the estate you’ll find a shared swimming pool. The house is equipped with everything you need for a relaxed holiday and makes a wonderful holiday accommodation for couples looking for a sweet holiday home in Calabria.

Casa Lampedusa was recently renovated and is a fully detached cottage for two persons. The comfortable house is situated on a domain together with several other small and larger holiday homes. The owners have used high-quality materials for the construction of the houses and have stylishly decorated the interior. You’ll soon feel at home in this cottage with the charming pictures on the wall and the wooden furniture. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxed holidays in Calabria.

Casa Lampedusa has a spacious open plan living/dining room with a dining table and an open kitchen. There also is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The cottage is very cosy due to the many pictures on the walls. It makes the perfect accommodation for a couple -with eventually a small child- looking for a comfortable holiday home in Calabria.

Your own private patio is in front of Casa Lampedusa and it is a lovely location have breakfast or a glass of wine surrounded by beautiful views over the sea and the coast of Capo Vaticano. The Mediterranean gardens surrounding the house also offer beautiful views over the area. The private footpath (400 steps) to the beach leads you to one of the most enchanting bays of Southern Italy. But if you prefer fresh water instead of salt, you can also take a refreshing dip in the shared swimming pool near your cottage.

A stay at Casa Lampedusa is a great opportunity to discover the beauties of Calabria. The ancient town of Tropea with its charming city centre is only ten kilometres away. Capo Vaticano is famous for its pretty beaches where children will enjoy themselves with swimming, diving and surfing. Renting a boat is also among the options. And of course you can not miss out on day trip to the mountaineous interior with its lovely authentic villages.

Capo Vaticano
Capo Vaticano is situated at the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria. The coast is also named “Costa degli Dei” (coast of the Gods). Lonely, enchanted bays with fantastic sandy beaches are here surrounded by steeply rising rocks. Some of the bays can only be reached by boat. Watch the sun set behind the volcano of Stromboli. The views from Capo Vaticano over the sea are superb and on a clear day you will see the cone of Stromboli and the other Aeolian islands looming out of the horizon. The Italians love Capo Vaticano for its pretty beaches. There is plenty of activity during the summer months while it becomes a serene and peaceful place in the off season.
