Situated on a private estate together with six other houses, you’ll find this fully detached holiday home. The lovely Casa Orto has a covered terrace and offers a over the kitchen garden and the fruit trees. The newly built swimming pool is shared with the guests of the other cottages. This peacefully situated, romantic accommodation is a perfect destination for people looking for a combination of sun, sea and beach.

There are seven holiday homes on the land of La Scogliera, each different in size. Casa Orto is built in a rustic style and makes a wonderful holiday home for a couple with eventually one child. A lovely location to enjoy the peace and quiet and experience the southern Italian outdoor living in Capo Vaticano. The cottage is separated from the Tyrrhenian sea by green Mediterranean vegetation. The vicinity of the sea will give you a sense of total freedom and relaxation.

In the open plan living room you will find a sofa and a television, a small dining table and an open kitchen. A door in the living room gives access to the bedroom with the double bed. You also have a private bathroom with shower, a toilet and a washing machine to your availability. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for an unforgettable holiday.

During your stay in Casa Orto you will be able to enjoy the pleasures of the Italian outdoor life. The covered patio in front of your house is a great place for reading a book or enjoying a glass of wine. On the estate you will find the large shared swimming pool. Or walk the 400 steps down to the enchanting beach of ‘Le Spiagiette’.

Holidays in Calabria offer plenty of opportunities for a very diverse vacation. Enjoy the pure and honest cuisine, make a daytrip to the unspoilt countryside, rent a boat, visit ancient towns. Or just relax and enjoy the sun, sea and the beach.

Capo Vaticano
Capo Vaticano is situated at the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria. The coast is also named “Costa degli Dei” (coast of the Gods). Lonely, enchanted bays with fantastic sandy beaches are here surrounded by steeply rising rocks. Some of the bays can only be reached by boat. Watch the sun set behind the volcano of Stromboli. The views from Capo Vaticano over the sea are superb and on a clear day you will see the cone of Stromboli and the other Aeolian islands looming out of the horizon. The Italians love Capo Vaticano for its pretty beaches. There is plenty of activity during the summer months while it becomes a serene and peaceful place in the off season
