This trip will allow you to get to know the diverse nature, the rich culture, the excellent cuisine and the magnificent beaches. And you will spend the last week in a comfortable apartment near one of the prettiest stretches of coast of southern Italy. It is the perfect conclusion of your roundtrip.

Day 1 - 4
Your residence for the first three nights will be Agriturismo La Locanda del Parco, in the northern part of Calabria. You will certainly be impressed by the unspoilt nature and the charming small villages. There are many ancient Albanese villages with strangely shaped chimneys. A few recommendations:

• Il Pollino national park
• The ancient towns Morano Calabro and Altomonte
• Rafting on the river Lao
• Civita and other Albananian villages
• The archaeological site of Sibari

Day 4 - 8
On day four of your trip you will head south towards the next accommodation. You will spend the next four nights with Giovanni and Stefania of Agriturismo À Sena. This azienda is situated at the foot of the nature reserve park of Aspromonte, at about ten minutes from the Ionian Sea (the east coast). You will not have a chance to get bored here either. A few interesting daytrips:

• Stilo, with its famous Byzantine church
• Aspromonte national park with mountain peaks up to 2000 metres
• The medieval town Gerace
• Participate in the work at the azienda
• The waterfalls of Marmarico near Bivongi

Day 8 - 15
The last week of your holidays is reserved to relax. You will stay in a large apartment at Agriresidence Ninea in Capo Vaticano. The view over the sea is magnificent and the pretty beaches of Calabria are only two kilometres away. Your stay at Ninea is based on room only rates. As you still have the car to your availability, you can make some lovely excursions here. Here are a few recommendations:

• Linger by the pool or enjoy the sun at one of the pretty beaches
• Monte Poro, the interior of Capo Vaticano
• The picturesque Tropea and Pizzo
• Reggio Calabria and its museum with the imposing statues of Riace
• The fisherman’s village Scilla
• A daytrip to the Aeolian Islands with Stromboli, Vulcano and Lipari
