8 day individual roundtripDay 1 - 4 Your individual journey starts when you arrive in Palermo or Trapani. Pick up your car and head north towards the central-northern part of Sicily. Pietro, a true Sicilian, is the owner of your residence for the first three nights: Agriturismo Valle del Torto. The accommodation is set in a peaceful valley and yet close to several highlights: • The boosting city of Palermo (only 40 minutes by train!) • Monreale, with its pretty cathedral • Le Madonie national park • Cefalù, a picturesque town by the sea • The medieval castle of Caccamo • The famous town of Corleone Day 4 - 8 On the fourth day of your trip you will travel towards Agriresidence Duca di Castelmonte at the western tip of Sicily. You will spend the next four nights here. The accommodation is strategically positioned to explore the western part of Sicily. A few recommendations: • The salt pans of Trapani • Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo and the nature reserve park Lo Zingaro • The medieval city of Érice • The beautiful town Marsala, famous for its Marsala wine • The Temple and Theatre of Segesta • Favignana and the other Egadi islands • The nature reserve park of Lo Stagnone with the island Mozia; with its well-preserved ruins of a crossroads civilisation • The ancient Greek archaeological site Selinunte • The old and new town of Gibellina After eight days on this magical island it is time to go back home. You drive back to Palermo or Trapani to return the car and catch your flight home.
