This round trip will allow you to meet a very diverse island with plenty of cultural highlights and an enchanting nature. We have carefully selected four lovely accommodations for you where you will stay during your journey. All residences are centrally positioned to easily explore the colourful island.

Sicily has a rich history that you can feel and see everywhere. There are beautiful Greek temples and theatres and lovely Baroque cities. Nature is overwhelming and of course there is Mount Etna.

15 day individual roundtrip in country hotels

Day 1 - 4
You fly from … to either Palermo or Trapani (depending on your preferences). Your car will be waiting for you at the airport and you can start your tour through Sicily. Your first destination will be the north east. Country House Green Manors will be your home for the first three nights. Its strategic position makes it a perfect starting point to visit many cultural highlights such as:

• The Aeolian islands
• The medieval Castroreale
• The Greek theatre and the pilgrim church of Tindari
• The beach and the lagoon of Patti
• Capo Peloro, the fisherman’s village Ganzirri, and Torre Faro; the north eastern tip of Sicily
• The mountains of Monti Peloritani

Day 4 - 8
On day four of your holidays you continue your journey towards the central eastern part of Sicily. Your next stop will be Agriturismo Sciaraviva at the foot of Mount Etna where you will spend the next four nights. Plenty of things to do here too:

• Mount Etna
• Taormina and the Greek theatre
• The fish market, the Duomo and the shopping streets of Catania
• The seaside towns Acireale, Riposto and Giarre
• The mosaics in the roman villa of Piazza Armerina
• The centre of ceramics Caltagirone

Day 8 - 11
The Baroque city Noto is often referred to as the prettiest city of Sicily. Your accommodation for the coming three nights, Masseria degli Ulivi, is situated nearby. The southeast of Sicily is very fascinating and has a lot to explore, some examples:

• The lovely town Syracuse
• The beaches in the nature reserve park Oasi di Vendicari
• Noto, one of the most important Baroque cities of Italy
• The Baroque Ragusa
• The necropolis of Pantalica
• The UNESCO-towns Militello Val di Catania, Modica, Palazzolo and Scicli

Day 11 - 15
You continue your journey west towards your final destination of this holiday. The beautiful estate of Baglio Donna Franca will be your base camp for the next four nights. The Baglio is wonderfully situated to explore the western part of Sicily. A few recommendations:

• The saltpans of Trapani and the lovely Érice
• Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo and the nature reserve park Lo Zingaro
• The Temple and theatre of Segesta
• Favignana and the other Egadi Islands
• The nature reserve of Lo Stagnone with the island Mozia; the well-preserved ruins of a crossroads civilisation
• The site of Selinunte

On the day of your departure you will drive to the airport of Palermo to return the car and check in for your flight home with many memories of Sicily.
